UKey Core 26 The hardware wallet supports the home screen wallpaper customization function. Used with the UKey Wallet desktop client, You can easily sync your favorite local pictures to your hardware device to create a personalized experience.

Preparation

Before you start setting up, make sure you complete the following preparations:

  • Prepare a UKey Core 26 hardware wallet that has been powered on and unlocked.

  • Use a data cable to stably connect your device to the computer where UKey Wallet is installed.

  • Prepare the image file you want to set as wallpaper [need to confirm: officially supported specific image format (such as JPG/PNG), resolution requirements and maximum file size].

Operation steps

Please follow the steps below to upload and sync your custom wallpaper:

  1. Enter account list: Open UKey Wallet on the computer, click your Account name.

  2. Enter device management: Find the hardware wallet you are currently connected to in the list, click the 〖︙〗 (More Options) icon to the right of the wallet name, and then click 〖Device management(Device management)〗.

  3. Select wallpaper settings: In the device management page, find and click the "Homescreen" option.

  4. Upload local images: Click the 〖+〗 button in the interface to browse and select the wallpaper image you want to upload from your computer.

  5. Adjust and preview: In the preview window of the software, adjust the image to the best position you want to display on the device screen, and then click Confirm.

  6. Initiate a synchronization request: Click the 〖Confirm〗 button again to send the image data to the hardware wallet.

  7. Confirm on device: Please view your UKey Core 26 hardware screen and follow the on-screen prompts for physical confirmation. After confirmation, the wallpaper modification will be completed immediately.

Things to note

  • Keep your connection stable: During the process of synchronizing images to the hardware wallet, do not unplug the data cable or accidentally disconnect the device to avoid synchronization failure.

  • Safety instructions: Customizing the wallpaper only changes the visual display of the device's UI. This operation is completely performed locally and will not have any impact on your private keys, mnemonic phrases, or asset security.
